If you want to:
Change payroll contribution to NEA Fund for Children and Public Education: Notify Membership Committee of amount in August when checking your IEA listing information.
Political IPACE partial refund: Contact IEA Springfield or MEA President for procedure.
Join or change address, phone, email - can be done through the MEA Membership Committee or through the IEA members pages.
Note: advise membership committee of changed email to update your MEA notifications.
If you need to:
Change your employment status - notify membership committee of change of building, retirement, transfer, termination, etc.
Change to part or full-time status: Notify MEA to change dues and coordinate with IEA and payroll.Cancellation - please use MEA Partial Cancellation Form and indicate reason for departure.
Go on:
Paid Leave - nothing to be filed
Non-Paid Leave: use MEA Partial Cancellation Form to notify MEA membership to adjust dues and coordinate with payroll.
Non-paid leave less than six months: to hold membership: MEA will coordinate dues with IEA.
Non-paid leave from six to twelve months: change of membership classification and dues to Reserve Membership. (note: May alternatively contact IEA Membership Processing, Springfield to arrange for membership directly.)
