Change payroll contribution to NEA Fund for Children and Public Education
- Notify Membership Committee of amount in August when checking your IEA listing information.
- Contact IEA Springfield or MEA President for procedure.
Change of employment status - notify membership committee of change of building, retirement, transfer, termination, etc.
- Change to part or full-time status: Notify MEA to change dues and coordinate with IEA and payroll.
- Cancellation - please use MEA Partial Cancellation Form and indicate reason for departure.
Leave of Absence - See school board policy, contract, and D15 FMLA FAQ sheet
Paid Leave - nothing to be filed
Non-Paid Leave: use MEA Partial Cancellation Form to notify MEA membership to adjust dues and coordinate with payroll.

- Non-paid leave less than two months: to retain membership, dues will be adjusted on return.
- Non-paid leave from two to six months: to hold membership: MEA will coordinate dues with IEA.
- Non-paid leave from six to twelve months: change of membership classification and dues to Reserve Membership. (note: May alternatively contact Jamie Gragg in IEA Membership Processing, Springfield to arrange for membership directly.)
